1993-1994 Yeti Arc Build - X-Small

mzagorski

Old School Hero
After a wild goose (yeti) chase I picked up this frame... It bounced between Ebay, Yetifans, back to Ebay... Missed winning it by $10 while snoozing... Then received a second chance offer and grabbed it. Phew.

Serial is #A1444. Supposedly it's a '94 but I'm guessing it might be a '95. It's SMALL.... I think X-small...

Headtube has the usual crack(s) so it will be going to FTW for some love.

I've yet to see an ARC with the same rear brake bridge but from what I've been told it's the same as those used on the ASLT which might make this frame's DOB abound late 1993 :)

Probably sometime early 2015 I will have it repainted at Spectrum. Would have done sooner but have a Yo Eddy in there getting a fresh coat of paint.

Plans for the build are XTR M900 groupest (which I've got)
Flite seat
Ringle Moby post (if I can find one in 26.8!)
Ringle Zooka Stem (I've got a 140mm Zooka in blue that's mint but would be nice to find something shorter.
Fork - Preferably a Manitou as they just look right on Yeti's
Crankset - Topline (Trying to source a 175mm non drive side arm... Don't care what color as that can be fixed)
Wheels - TBD, but ideally Ringle hubs laced to Mavic 217's.

Re: 1994? Yeti Arc Build - X-Small

Nice find! Keep us updated as the build goes on :D.
That tiny headtube  .

Wow thats tiny.....rare frame just due to the size. That style of rear cable hanger was used on some Yeti FRO's (can't remeber year prob 93?) maybe used on this ARC due to small size and helped cable routing? Interesting.

Re:

Another new Yeti build ... Nice :D

Looking forward to seeing this one built once FTW has worked his magic
