Nice scans!

"The honchos at Slingshot claim that energy isn't lost, but stored in the spring and returned towards the bottom of the stroke."

I fancy a slingshot, but this sort of waffle, combined with the hilarious red car/blue car style advert on their website really puts me off. I like odd and quirky, not some silly justification for the design.

The point is that it's one of the smoothest climbers I've tried. Seated pedaling is very, very effective, and I'm talking about modern standards and my real experience.
The only problem is that retro slingshots cannot be repaired nowadays and the spring tends to come unglued.

I had mine repaired and painted last year by Scott Quiring.
The modern company called Slingshot is also repairing old frames.

Thanks for the scans Firstflight.

Thanks for the review Jeff.

I have a Slingshot MT3, one model newer than the reviewd model, and i like it a lot 8) .

I was reading the review and the story stopped.....
The story continued on page 89.

But there is no page 89.....
Can you please scan page 89, because i like to read the whole story.

Thanks
