1992 Saracen Traverse

I rescued this from a local house clearance auction. I was behind a load of cheap no name bikes, dressed up with luggage rack, broken mudguards and acres of reflective tape.

I paid £38 for it (my max was £40) pulled all the junk off it, removed the bindweed from the spokes and it looks quite respectable. Deore DX mechs, brake levers and thumbshifters. The original powdercoated finish has stood up remarkably well as due to the amount of weeds around the spokes I guess it has been outside for sometime.

Lovely bike and a real bargain. It's True Temper AVR tubing underneath that lustrous purple powder-coat. Your's looks almost all original with all that DX kit on it, although I've just noticed the brakes are missing.
It also looks like a 19" frame which is the same as mine.
