So that's why they needed that fancy-Dan thick paint... ;-)

It's not that ugly..

I'm the seller, my original intention was to make an anti-Klein, all flat black, no decals, sort of a stealth bomber for running errands and getting back and forth to work, but somehow I ended up with a shiny frame that still says Klein. I'm easily distracted, I think it was the neon green coming up from under the decals that got me sidetracked. If the buyer doesn't like the look, I suppose almost all the prep work is done for a repaint.

If anyone has any questions, just let me know.

I actually like this frame and considered a bid - I think your treatment puts into a real world context what's under the, mostly awful, candy paint jobs we see on bikes so regularly praised by their owners as the ultimate offroad steeds.

Thanks-it has sort of a 'bright ti' look to it in the flesh. I sort of wish I had used the same stripping technique for the whole frameset, the 'ripped paint' look would have been interesting combined with the naked aluminum coming through.
