Hi all, for sale is my lovely, restored 1991 Trek 970. You can see the full build restoration on this link here:

Details as follows, a very original catalogue spec 1991 Trek 970. Only the Girvin flex stem is not standard to the catalogue. Everything has been fully stripped and rebuilt, but didn’t really need it due to the original 1 owner keeping it dry stored in his heated house all these years.
* Top tube - centre to centre = 56cm
* Seat tube - centre BB to top seat collar = 47cm
* Girvin Stem length - centre to centre = 12cm
Featuring Shimano XT/DX components, matrix rims, ODI grips and Girvin flex stem. In impressive condition with minor marks from age / storage. Only cosmetic work undertaken was to the Trek down tube decal which is documented in the restoration thread. No dents or cracks known of to the frame/fork. All components in good working order.
Price £450 (or make an offer)
PS. I have a black (135mm) Girvin flexstem if the buyer wants to swap out from the shorter silver (120mm).
Payment includes correctly bike boxing, courier and insured to anywhere in UK only. Payment via online bank transfer or PayPal friends or goods all accepted.
