Due to a(nother) unexpected bicycle-related purchase, I've decided I'm going to have to let my recently purchased T24 go. It rides very nicely indeed, almost like a soft-tail, and I must admit I have been tempted to fit suspension forks and use it as my main bike but it would be sacrilage to spoil its original spec - I'd love it to go to someone who will keep it original hence posting on here before ebay. You can see my original pic-heavy post here.

I've fitted new grips and brake cables (one grip does have a tiny split in the end after the bottle cage incident) but I still have the original foam grips which I will include - these are in perfect, undamaged condition. Indexing is spot on at the mo' so Ive been reluctant to change the gear cables (I can include a couple of spare cables though). I'd like to keep the Sharkbite pedals which I fitted but will include the plastic Wellgo platforms which it came with or a new set of black VP alloy platforms. Happy to include the bottle cage too - just be aware that the downtube is not the best place for a cage (read my original post - you'll know why  ). I'd be looking for the same as I paid plus postage, so £170 including Parcelforce 48 hour delivery (or £160 collected - I'm in Newport, South Wales).

Please get in touch if you'd like any measurements or more pics and I'll do my best to help.

Cheers! :D

NOW SOLD - thanks for all the interest :D

Very nice indeed.

Have you pm'd Rob Atkin, as I think he said he'd be keen to have it off of you.. 8)

Yes, I PM'd Rob first but he's had to pass at the mo' - love it to go to someone on here though but can't promise I won't PM asking to buy it back a few years down the line :)

Thanks Steve for thinking of me. Can't beleive this minter has to pass me by due to lack of funds. If my Spesh Tricross had sold on eBay it would have been mine!!

Still for sale and I'm in no hurry to ebay it Rob - as I said earlier, I'd much rather it go to an enthusiast - so watch this space :D

Had to comment on this type of bump....

Just like your husband said "Why don't you just tell the seller to hang onto it for a couple of weeks and then he can send it straight to the person you sell it to next week"

Whats your new purchase?

Yeah, he knows me only too well. Fair play, tolerance is certainly his strong point

The new purchase is a 2006 Kona Cowan - I have to blame the T24 - having a frame that fits was a revelation hence the urge for a new tiny do-it-all bike 8) . I'd hang onto it but I know from previous experience I can't handle having more than one bike at a time - it's the indecision - there've been times when I've ridden down the street on one and then turned around, come back home and swapped  - please tell me it's not just me
