1990ish norco pinnacle

over the last month I've been looking for an e-stay build and found a norco pinnacle and collected it yesterday.

while looking for info on the bike and brand I found a few more pinnacle's, some had neon yellow/pink black paintjob. After I took the bike home I noticed the same colours hiding under the red paint. It looks like they repainted it at the factory. Maybe I'll just paint it back again.

I had a day off today and took the time to strip and clean the frame and look for some components.
I'm not sure if I keep the wheels, I'd rather have silver hubs. I also want a stem with less rise. Those things aside I think the build is coming along really well. It's mostly a mix of deore dx and xt.

I took the norco for a spin today and took better pictures.
the u-brake did close to nothing but after replacing the brake pads it actually stops the bike

I like that, and actually prefer it in red!
