The way your initial post reads is as an "I have just found this on ebay..."

I am passing comment on it as a regular outed on ebay find.

Had you mentioned that this was yours I would have kept my mouth shut.

I am in no way trying to make your first experience of posting anything here a negative one and did not intend to sound rude and apologise for you having chosen to take my views as such.

Here's some helpful advice to make your experience of Retrobike more positive. If you want your items to sell on ebay, post a link; or at the very least the item number, as well so that people who are interested in bidding can follow it to do so. Retrobike is in part funded, and therefore kept free for us, by the posting of links to ebay auctions which are then followed leading to a purchase.
