So i finally found what i was looking for quite a while, but somehow the previous owner wasn't to happy with the Magenta fade....

Yet i decided to go for it....

Since i was aware of a fitting replacement fork at a collectors home in Germany i could get hold of it and the only issue was to have the Magenta part repainted to the original state. So i asked a friend who has done amazing paint jobs for me before to take over. Here is the result....

Much better in original colours, were the forks also painted white by the previous owner?

Yes, as shown on the first pic. Why buy such an iconic bike and then have the most important part painted over white, one would ask. But thank god the fork i found was the perfect color fit.
