Has a groove tube top tube and top pull front derailleur so is actually a 1992 model

Got canti's on the back so 93-onward (my 92 avalanche is still u-brake, think it was the last year)

yes agree, but the decals where different ffrom 1993 onwards, with the gt all terra being on the down tube, so quite strange, maybe late 1992 when there was a change over.

Interesting. I have exactly same decals/paint job on my Avalanche but with U-brakes.
