Bought this Klein off GearlessinSeattle just before Xmas as I'd always wanted an MC1 attitude. I'd had a 20" before but found it to be too small. Original ad is here: http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=127777. Since it arrived in the UK it's been sat in the boxes it was shipped in as I tried to source a new rear hub. I have successfully found a new rear hub, as the current hub has a crack in the shell, but I have not had the rear wheel rebuilt with it. I have also changed the front mech to a period correct Campy Centaur, added a Campy seat quick release and I have sourced a set of NOS Centaur 8 speed thumbies which I had planned to fit in place of the bullet shifters as I have never like twist shifters. I assembled the bike today to take some pictures, it is truly stunning and (apart from the scratch on the stem) in mint condition.
Looking to get back what this has cost me so far which includes the original sales price, import duty and taxes and the replacement parts. Buyer will get the everything decribed above and the Team shirt as per the original ad. £1750 + shipping.
