Wrong rear wheel, which bizarrely was the same problem with mine.
If anyone is interested, I will be drawing up this sticker set for Gil at retro decals to produce, should be reasonably priced from him after I’ve done the laborious work.

Yes, seen that one and already had a chat with the seller. Late 1989 when Brigg introduced the new graphics/logo/font that lasted until end of ‘94 (I think).
The thing about the original posted bike was that it had a limited run in that graphic scheme/colour combo and could have been as early as late ‘88. (Might be worth asking the seller to give up the Shimano codes, always a good indicator)

Ps did you see the statement “lightweight bike” in the description? :shock: (the nickname I have for mine is ‘the tank’. It sort of smashes through roots rather than rides over them!)
