I got a Rossin (after years of searching), but I have lost my old brochures. Anyone have pictures and/or brochure scans of a 1987 Rossin Marathon?

Count me in as jealous.

I recently picked up a late 80's Rossin SLX road bike and the details are impressive.

Your frame set is as interesting if not more so. The Gilco shaped Columbus tubing was used only on their highest end road bike, the Ghibli. Investment cast lugs made specifically for this tubeset, cant's front and back, lugged fork, wacky paint.

Even if it rides terrible it sure will look nice!

My guess is that these MTB Rossins did not came in high numbers. My is stamped #49 (or #19... hard to tell due to paint)

I will give the frame, fork and bullmoose handlebars a deep cleaning before deciding if it needs a repaint and decals. I think anyway that it will be preserved as is with all the patina. And No there will not be any disc mounts on this one ;-)

Stay tuned for a separate thread under the readers MTB section.
