Seat post should be 27.2mm and you'll need 39-49mm drop brakes. eBay should be a good place to pick up a kalloy seat post. It sounds like your forks have been replaced. Worksop closed in 1981 so your frame was made at the Nottingham lightweight unit, still a great frame and nice ride, cheers, Andy.

A few upgrades
Replaced wheels with nice set of Mavic rims/shimano 600 hubs
got a seat post that fits! (only fitted before event so saddle needs adjusting!)
Changed front rear derailleur and rear to shimano 600
Shifters shimano 600 (620
Crankset 600 (6207)

Rode it for first time yesterday at Old Velo event.
120km with over 1500m of climbing, with some gradients of over 20%. I was glad to have a 39 – 24, anything less I’d have been walking!

Any advice welcome

Glad to hear you had a nice ride and that's a pretty good distance for a shakedown ride, clearly it was put together right.
