1981 Trailmaster

Hello,
I purchased this bike from the original owner on the 9th. It is my second Trailmaster and is slightly newer than my first one which I have owned for 40 years. I need to change a few things to make it right for me, seat, seat post, handlebar and possibly the stem. Each one of these bikes was built up differently. I will only use period correct parts. I'm really happy to add this bike to my collection and hope to have it back up on Mt. Tamalpais soon.

These are up there with my most desirable bikes. A Cunningham would perhaps give it some competition if it ever came down to a choice.

Well, I have always enjoyed riding my first Trailmaster. They are long, which I like. The top tube ctc is 24" and the chainstays center of axle to center of bb spindle is 18".
