Retro Newbie
Hi, I've browsed this forum for a while after stumping on it when doing a search for my first bike http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=118611!
Sometime later after after acquiring the above the bike I thought I should register and document a build.
It was listed on my local running club message by the original owner who bought it back in the 80s and after lending it to his brother in London for a years was finally getting rid of it. Unfortunately the saddle and handle bars were changed sometime ago and disposed of, but other than that it was complete.
Anyway a deal was done and I got the bike home. My plans are to initially get the bike rideable again to check the size and see how comfortable it is. The rear wheel has 4 missing spoke so as you would expect is really out of true to the point where it won't go through the brake blocks. The front wheels is also quite far out. I have some old drop handlebars lying around and some brake levers so they will be the first things to swap.
Pictures to follow.
