I thought I'd share this with you. A couple of weeks ago I got this nameless French Mixte Randonneur that I am trying to identify (c.f. other thread). One reason to get it in the first place was the weird 50s tech that looks like it's from another planet. So far I've taken it apart completely and I'm almost done with overhauling/cleaning everything. Except for the front mech, BB and rear axle everything's in good working order. The bearings and mech I replaced/repaired.
The lovely Huret/CLB-derailleur was broken (outer cage, ground through). I fixed that with a piece from an old 70s Simplex cage and AB epoxy.
Yesterday I managed to set up front and rear mech. The rear Cyclo mech was tricky to set up with its loop cable and a lot of trial and error going on.
