A freind of mine has just learned that her grandfather was the designer of a bike that Raleigh decided to put into production some time around 1930. The bike was named Mac or Mack as his last name was McKenna.
Does anyone have any info they can pass along as to where we could dig up some details; even a starting point beyond just a google search? Obviously her goal would be to get her hands on one of these (probably not likely) or even to just get some details or even see one in a picture.
"McKenna" was a bicycle shop owner in Ontario Canada so it's possible that the bikes could have been produced in North America ( I believe I read that Raleigh was producing bikes in NA around this time as a result of WWI and would remain there due to the required production of bikes for WWII paratroopers .......... can you imagine parchuting with full gear to fight and having to carry a folding bike with you? no carbon back then.)
Thanks for reading, ANY info would be greatly, greatly appreciated.
