Hmmm, as BarryHurgundy points out on STW I'm not sure that's a Kona unless the canti bridge and TT stop have been added by a previous owner...

Not sure an Explosif had the mounting holes in the side of the seatstays either.

The dropouts show it to be a Kona from somewhere in 91-93. The fluted Tange Ultimate Ultrastrong down tube shows it to be an Explosif from either 93 or 94. So it's a 1993 Explosif.

The paint and decals are non-original, so the non-standard canti bridge was probably fitted at the same time as it was repainted.

It might be a Thin Blue Line frame made in Canada.

Thin Blue Line was a line of bicycles available in the 1990s from a shop in Toronto called Silent Sports. I have seen three of their frames with an identical canti bridge, one of which was made with a fluted Tange Prestige Ultimate downtube. It's probably a very good frame, but it's probably not a KONA Explosif.

The chainstay looks badly mauled. Ouch!
