Up for sale over on uk-mtb.com, a 93/94? 19" Kona Explosif

I'm not registered on that forum, but if you like you could tell him that it could be a 1992 Explosif, size 18 actually (they sized them differently in 1991/92).

But whatever it is, it has been resprayed and there is no indication in the photos that it's an Explosif and not some other model. The test is that if it has ovalised and tapered top and down tubes then it's a 92 Explosif, if not then it's not.

As it stands, the frame isn't worth much more than the rear wheel, but if he could prove what it is and add Gil_M decals then its value would be much enhanced.

The fact it has a top swing front mech pretty much precludes it from having the prestige concept ovalized seat tube that the 91 and 92 model had.
