good question its going to be chained up in town so musnt be too collectable, no need for suspension or disc brakes decent wheels and semi slick tyres a must xtr too good dont know much about mountain bike group sets below xt. she will be bombing around footpaths, verges visiting her mates and also riding to work on it thats why i want her to have a light good handling frame, i thought a 'reader' could perhaps make something from his stuff lying around cheapish ?

I've got a 1999 Kona Hahanna which is in cracking condition. It's no super light but I rode a 1999 Hahanna for three years at university and it was perfect for that sort of thing. It's pretty much standard spec so same as here: http://www.klassickona.com/oldgold/99bi ... einfo.html but it's in a nice dark blue not green sames as this: http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/9852088/ I'm not sure why it's a different colour than in the catalogue. If you want it posted I wouldn't be able to do that for over a week, but it could be picked up anytime from East Sussex. PM me if you're interested, it won't break the bank!
