I Have a 19" 1991 Kona Explosif Frame and forks available for sale

The Good
Classic Kona Steel frame designed by Joe Murray
Tange Prestige Concept MTB Double Butted Tubing
Project 2 forks
XT bottom crown headset and bearings
Original Kona Impact top crown headset and bearings
comes with cable guides around seat tube and on Bottom bracket

the not so good
Drive Side bottom bracket thread is damaged so your options are to ream and sleeve the BB Shell or use a threadless bottom bracket such as YST, Pretine or Velo Orange Grand Cru threadless Bottom bracket
Paint on frame is quite faded (from purple to blue) and there are a few scrathces and chips (but no dents)
paint on Forks is bubbling up a little

Ideal retro build opportunity for an all time classic bike

i was gonna build it up for me but bought a different frame instead so its for sale again

have you re-threaded the BB?

not as yet, its as i bought it at the mo, the thread looks stripped to about 10mm (although there are threads further in), i doubt just a chase would be sufficient but im going to take it to my frame builder friend to see what he thinks
reckon best bet would be a re sleeve or a threadless BB, have found these people <http://www.apibikes.com/> who can do it for £35
