17" P7 frame and 1" Chris King headset

Size

How tall are you anyway and inside leg? A layback seat post would also help no end, get an Easton or Race face XY they both have 30mm plus of layback, wider bars aso give a lot more room, it's surprising what a difference they make and bar ends would give you more reach, remem thatber a lot of bikes back then were specifically designed to be run with bar ends, which gave a lot more reach too.

I'm 6'3" and run an 18" frame ,i've found that i prefer a smaller frame as its more 'chuckable'
Had a 21" clockwork for years and was never truly satisfied with it.

I had a 17" P7 in 96 (the frame above is 96 too btw :) ) and I was happy with the size then, but back then I also preferred smaller frames with low bars and arse in the air for racer boy chuckability.

OK, the only way I'm gonna resolve this is by finishing it and riding it. I am riding Rutland tomorrow so I can't do owt with it this weekend but all it needs is cables and grips (i've sourced spuds & chain) so what's my excuse for not getting her ridable?

Thanks for changing my mind and making me poor everyone
