17" Clockwork Frameset

After much deliberation and hand wringing I have decided to sell my Clockwork frameset. I have plans which mean something has to go, and reluctantly I realise that this is that something.

This is a 1997 17" frame (MT71100104) refinished at the end of last year in satin black powder and fitted with genuine new style Clockwork decals and head badge. FRAME SOLD.

I'm selling as a frame set with Orange branded alloy stem STILL AVAILABLE
, 29.6mm ORANGE SEATPOST, COLLAR. SADDLE & BARS NOW SOLD

There are also a pair of F8 forks to fit the frame but these will need painting (they have been stripped ready to refinish). STILL AVAILABLE

I'm looking for £100 posted within the UK. I accept paypal (and the charges! :roll: ) and I'll post within 7 days of sale (although I'll endeavour to get it out quicker).

I'd rather not split at the moment, but I am open to sensible offers.

Oh! and there's also a shim to allow use of a 27.2mm seatpost.

That's a nice frameset. Is it a 1 1/8" headset (sorry if you've put it in the ad, it's Friday afternoon so I could well have missed it. Did well to even log in to be honest).

Knew I'd miss something. Yes it takes a 1/18" fork (very like the one that comes with it )
It also takes a 31.8mm top pull front mech.

Oh and being a 97 it qualifies as retro too. What a bargain!

Was it refinished by orange? If yes how much was it?

Hi Chris.

No it was done by a place just outside Oxford.

They do a lot of bikes though, there was a Bonty in when I was there.

They charged £40 which is about average, decals and head badge came from Orange.
