16" Dawes Rough trade frameset now £35 posted

Got this early 90's Dawes rough trade frameset.

It is 16" c-t of seat tube and is made of reynolds 501 magnum tubing.

Usual scuffing/scratches from use and a small dent in the top tube.

£35 posted to include frame, crmo fork and stem.

Just sorting out my shed and my old bike, a Dawes RoughTrade the same colour as this, chucked the name in google while I was thinking of the good ol days and it led me here haha!

Did you have the fantastic XT shifters on yours?

Hi Carl,

Welcome to the site.

Yeah nice enough bike although never really used it as it was too small, hence the sale now.

Funny how many of us stumbled on this place searching for info etc.

One thing I will say straight off is: run, run away now while your bank balance is still intact

Must of gone through at least 20 odd bikes since I found this place 3 years ago so you have been warned.

To late, I have endless amount of web pages open with stuff haha

While searching I noticed Dawes Edge XT's on ebay...seems to have nice stuff on it but no idea if dawes any good these days but the edge was always my dream as a nipper but could only stretch to the roughtrade haha
