What a plank the author is. He seems to be forgetting that product evolution requires risks and "out of the box thinking" to move stuff on.
Saying elastomer suspension was rubbish, completely misses the point that it was the best available at that time, and that his im sure plush 400mm travel pikes are a direct result of those developments.
Im sure he will be saying in 25 years time how crap di2 was and why the hell did we have it.....missing the point that it led to the amazing development of telepathic gear systems.
