as i've just downloaded my pictures i thought i'd give my Peugeot 5 minutes of fame before i move it on

this summer i rode my retrobike to LEL glory,
she's a Peugeot Competition 2000. http://www.retrobike.co.uk/gallery2/v/u ... t.jpg.html
made from Columbus Genius (the good stuff!) and sprinkled with 9 sp campag, i swapped out the straight forks for something a little more forgiving and added comfort with ITM's Marathon bars and a Brooks Swift.
wheels were handbuilt by Malcolm at 'the Cycle Clinic', thanks Malcolm.

usually a 8kg machine, on completion my bike had an all up weight of 16.7kg….ouch!

If you think you are getting way with a couple of pics and a small paragraph, think again. Full report required on this mammoth ride!!!

Well done,

Richard

Indeed. Last year I gave full reports on both my major audaxes, there's certainly an audience out here for such a report.
