Does it need to be s clutch mech or not?

Sorry, memory playing tricks on me - it's a m771 xt 9 speed mid cage. I too have a zee mech, but it's v worn. Not trying to sell mine at all as it is worn beyond use but the FR version of the Zee mech is in my opinion the best 10 speed mech shimano ever made. It's super compact, will work on 11-42 cassette, robust and works just as well as xt and xtr.
