your local halfords will have one,they were all kitted out with the full monty toolkit a few years ago when i was there,whether or not there is anyone there who knows what it is or how to use it.......

Why do you want to cut a thread into it? Bear in mind if it is to fit a quill stem that the internal diameter of an A-head steerer varies and may not match that of the stem.

so i can run it with a normal headset and a quill stem, its the same diameters as a threaded steerer so will be fine.
