bahm, that does not look like appealing. I was referring to when you have for instance 14 cm headtube, a 3cm stack height headset, and yet, the fork has only 13-15 cm steerer. Then there is no other option but to braze a new tube, or get a new fork. But that adapter looks very clumsy :O
