Old School Grand Master
I bought this a few weeks ago, and as fate would have it, another yearned for bike became available, except with disc tabs.
I have too many bikes,, so this one is back up for sale.
Size Large, seattube 18.5" c-c, 21" c-t, top tube (actual) 23", with a 16.5" chainstay. I'm 6'1" and it is a perfect fit!
The pics show 110mm travel forks being used, but I've also run 80mm. It is very happy with either length.
The short chainstays are perfect for running 34:17 or 36:19 singlespeed ratios without the need for any tensioner. This frame has only been used SS and there is NO chain suck damage, though it does have a mech hanger.
There are the odd minor scratch or chip, but NO dings or dents. Alignment is perfect.
The colour is a deep gunmetal blue and when the sun catches it it glitters royal blue!
Construction is rim brake only, of True Temper OX platinum and weight is less than 2kg.
I believe it is an '02 model, being built in Oakland, California.
Price, £200 , frame only, including UK postage. More to foreign parts.
