    Tyres (not retro)

Hi MS They can go on either front or rear - I used (or tried to use) them both as rears - the 2.2's were too wide hence me getting the 1.85's. They look the same so you could use them as a front and rear set but as I recall the tyres did not get decent reviews for use in front. L

MacRetro Big Clan Gathering - Sat 23rd Oct - Aftermath

Thanks for everybody involved in arranging the outing. It was a great day out, and nice to meet you guys. I would have loved to stay for the BBQ but I just couldn't keep up the macho image - I had to get to the car to break down and cry. Ouch - downhill with a rigid frame & fork... I...

Aaargh - I do apologise for any hurt feelings! It was not the intention! Bullpup - I asked my wife to measure my inside leg but she just gave me the suspicious eye and a snort. Can't help you there in terms of comparison. But like the other people on the forum said - you'll probably be...

Bullpup I'm 17st and your length. I've got a 21" Clockwork Orange and while the height is perfect the reach is just, just too short. I just feel that bit too cramped on the bike. The Orange is amazingly light and really such a nice bike but I'm scared that I'm too heavy for it (I'm not doing...

MacRetro Big Clan Gathering - Sat 23rd Oct

That puts it nicely in perspective, and seeing that I qualify too I'll pencil the date in. I might even be able to convince the 3rd Reich (aka missus) that I need to buy a bouncy fork and new tyres for this competitive event. The Fat Man will ride again. How far is Borders Hospital...

Stupid, impatient me. Thought that I was good enough to do a rattle can job. Came out ok until I've decided that the paint is dry enough... The paint was NOT dry. Stupid, stupid, stupid. Robmac - thanks for the info. I'll contact the guys as soon as I feel like looking at the frame...

    Scottish based knowledge needed

Does anybody know a powder coater who will do a bike frame in the Fife area? I need to get a Stumpy (steel frame) painted - unfortunately my girl ordered a blue and green colour scheme!!! Such a custom job will probably cost an arm and a leg. I've also contemplated a rattle can job but...
