    1990 Klein Attitude

I like this! What cranks are those? I also 'blacked out' my 1990 dolomite. Couldn't fine any period correct cranks, so went with some Tune sixpack cranks. They have the same shape as Cook bros, but much lighter.

SOLD '97-'98 team edition Carbon Giant MCM D900 frame

For sale a Giant D900 frame team edition Purple-Red-Yellow '97-'98. Back then unique with the fluid carbon shapes. See my other topic for the Hardtail MCM, also for sale. Next to this I have the matching saddle, clothing and helmet. So basically I am looking for another fool for late 90's...

SOLD Team edition Giant MCM Carbon HT '96-'97

For sale an early MCM team edition, without disc brake tabs; rimbrake only. As you can see I also have the team MCM D900 frame; the carbon full suspension 'freeride' bike. It is also for sale, but it is 1998, so will post it in the other subforum. Next to this I have the matching saddle...

NOS Tires: Butterscotch Tioga / Continental / etc(amberwall)

Re: Hi Giom6, The easy way out for me was to have Spud take them all three, then there would not have been any discussion. But no, I wanted to please as many people; thought I did good, but with the nasty result of only more disappointed people  True, honesty is not helping you...

NOS Tires: Butterscotch Tioga / Continental / etc(amberwall)

Re: Re: Hi Giom6, I'd best be honest about this as it really bugs me. Retro Spud was a real gentleman and admitted he did not have a project for the Baja right away, so he agreed to let that one go to someone else who was looking for one for years to complete a set. I really did my best to...

    Wanted small SS 29er frame

Re: Something completely different, but who knows: 2008 GT Peace 9 er. Chromoly 4130 with EBB, disc only, Nice dark brown-red color. Size wise not completely sure, but a bit too small for me. Seat tube length (BB-seat collar) 16.9" Originally a 29er single speed, I converted it to Alfine 8. I...

    Deciphering Klein S/N

Re: Thanks for your research, nice to know where a bike fits in the production run. I already assumed this was a 1990, but that was just because of the embossed Klein logo's on the headset. SN frame: (k)AT032 #52 SN box fork: 5A34D #845 (replacement then?) The bike was sold as a...

NOS Tires: Butterscotch Tioga / Continental / etc(amberwall)

Re: Yes, all Conti's and Tioga's are gone, sorry for those who missed out. Didn't know they are so sought after. For the Vredestein's there are two people interested, no definite answer from both. The blue wall Ritcheys WCS are still available.

Show us your late 90s DH bikes

Show us your late 90s DH bikes

Well the 1998 geometry thing is not really that big a problem on an M1. Because actually there are so many settings that with some puzzling I ended up with a pretty close to modern geometry. Well, at least I was able to get a shallow head angle; and that is the most problematic thing with old...
