Lol I wish they were everywhere, congrats on such a rare find. Folks here did believe it was a fake bike. All the information I found on the Raleigh alien is on this thread and on mtbr.com site under the same name... Miggy Mann. Not a whole lot of info out there.

An old school mix on my one of a kind white JVC QL-5 (the saint) hand painted by yours truly. A great mix to help keep up the pace.

So which Raleigh MTB is worth having? (Activators n/a)

A would say the Raleigh Alien would be the mtb to own... If you can find one. You might have better luck with a close encounter of the 3rd kind unless you've got lady luck on your side.

I guess you never really believe untill you see one yourself. I've seen 3 so far. Mines is one of two that I've seen in the states, this is a UK bike. Made in Nottingham England Extremely rare in America. 3rd one I saw was sold in Hungary just a week before I found the ad. Last few pics compare...

Scammers are aggressively targeting the retro bike community.

The scary part is that scammers usually work in groups, when one comes up with a better way to scam folks... They share it. I belong to vintage Audio forum and folks there have also been scammed and scammers banned but like I said... When there's 1 there's usually a few more watching and...

Wow this might be the place to get more info on my Raleigh Alien, it's a late 80s Nottingham bike with the Worsop serial number. I am not a bike guy, I've learned a little bit here and there. This is a special production bike built after derby internal aquired the nishiki brand. From what I've...

    eBay experts needed!

If you are still watching the item and you still want it at the discounted price, contact them and ask them if you can still get it at that price, maybe they can send you the offer again or open up offers if they have them closed so you can make the same offer they gave you. As an eBay seller, I...

No I think this guy has a little more info than what I found on Wikipedia. Copied from site. Some of the all terain bikes and mountain bike...

I guess I didn't mention that I am not a bike guy, at least not the bike guy I was 25 years ago, I took the info given to me by a stanger that said they were a Raleigh specialist and because he did share some info that I was aware of that I took everything he said as facts, that's probably my...

If that song was long enough I would remake the video with your suggestion. It was all the view that lead me here, or at least got me looking for post regarding my bike. Didn't take long but it led me down the rabbit hole that forced me to find another Raleigh Alien and me being the lucky fellow...
