Hi all, Need to get the cranks removed from the bike but only have a square taper crank removal tool. Can I get some pointers in the right tool to get and how would it work as the BB axle is hollow! Thanks Jules

Re: Well, bit the bullet and got a new one. Wanted a red version and Hargroves had them at just under £100 so that's were I got it from! Not sure though if it is the classic or SV so I'll be a surprise when it arrives!

Being honest I haven't looked at the price of new CK h/s for quite a while but they do seem to have gotten a bit more expensive than they used to be hence the post here. Not surprised someone is asking £300 for a Ti version, new from CK they are $308 or around £250 then add shipping, insurance...

Re: Hi, If you are looking for XTR hubs and not a black pair I do have a pair of M900 hubs without QR's or a M900 with QR's hubbed wheelset. Both are used but are perfectly useable!

Do have a pair of all black wells but they are a bit more modern so not sure of they'll fit the build you have. Let me know and I can send some pics. Jules

Re: Before doing it yourself, just have a think if saving £10-£15 is a price worth paying if you get it wrong. You might even find an decent LBS could do the job while you wait and this saving you the hassle of fitting it yourself. The other thing is you might find it hard to hold the frame...

Hi all, OK we all now how good CK headsets are but they are quite expensive! Want a red headset and seen a CC 110 on the bay for a decent price and was wondering if anyone has any experience of them and are they really as good as CK headsets? Cheers Jules
