Hey there i have a weird conundrum with this bike. the rear light is always brighter than the front.. and i dont know why. i have swapped the bulbs which are LED's and looked for differences and its still dim at the front.

Currently working on the Heron badge so I was gonna use black and red Humbrol enamel in metallic to restore it. my dad suggested giving it a coat of clear lacquer after it had been restored. Was just wanting peoples opinions

All i need now is replacement Mudguards and then i can look into getting it repainted. Cotter pins giving me trouble as the non crank side wobbles.. apart from that my test rides were pleasant

Recently acquired original front cable, fully intact original chaincase and LED bulbs. once i sorted out the wiring for correct polarity these lights are now extremely bright for such a bike.. i like it. shame the front bulb is brilliant white instead of a warmer color

Re: Hey guys thought i would update since i havent in a while. I got a new R.I Prop stand which is in much better condition. DIY'd the bottom plate for the FSU battery housing Put new tires and dunlop inner tubes on. Theres still alot to do however

Re: Cleaned up the parts... left the dynamo alone and greased the axle bearings. The ball cup bearings I'll have to do later but I put it back together and it works fine. Further increasing my love for older tech.. it's sturdy. doesn't change the fact that the gear adjustment is finicky

nevermind i got it now... i hope it still works

still struggling to get the dynamo out so i can access the bearings any tips?

So regular light oiling would be much better than leaving it in grease for long periods of time. (though i guess you guys know this much already)
