    Headset for 1994 Cannondale Killer-v

Just disassembled everything yesterday and apparently the headset isn't broken after all. There was a plastic ring/spacer that was used to fill the gap and the spacer fell out. So Looking for a decent solution now.

    Headset for 1994 Cannondale Killer-v

I had the P-bone lying around and these are indeed 1 1/8. I'll have to measure the frame to check whether it's 1 1/4 or not.

    Headset for 1994 Cannondale Killer-v

Hi, I’m wondering what headset to use one a 94 Killer-v 900. (Non 1.5) We installed a Ringlé Slamma Jamma, but unfortunately it broke after a few rides. Bought a KCNC 1 1/8, but apparently that one doesn’t fit. Any advice on a decent one that fits? The fork is a rigid P-bone. Thanks.

Cannondale rigid - front cantilever setup

Change of plans. I won't be installing my Dia Compe canti's and will be using v-brakes for this project. Easier to adjust and use.

Cannondale rigid - front cantilever setup

Hi, I’m building a Killer-v with rigid p-bone and I was wondering how I have to route the front cantilever brakes. Can I attach the swinger to the fork or do I need a cable hanger under the stem. Anyone with a similar setup? Please show me your pics.

    Wheelset for Cannondale Killer-v

I’ve read about the 700 that they’re not the most reliable hubs. Same for the 500?

Newbie + looking for gearing advice

It doesn’t have to be period correct for me, but I want the bike to look old school. The plan is to use the bike regularly, so it will certainly not be built just to look at. But I like my bikes clean and that makes sourcing the right retro parts more difficult. As far as the gearing is...

    WANTED Ringle Slamma Jamma Baseplate

I'm too new to here to reply to your PM. I checked my p-bone (tucked away somewhere) and apparently the baseplate was stuck on there. I thought it was part of the p-bone.  This is what I have and I suppose this set is complete?

    WANTED Ringle Slamma Jamma Baseplate

Where does this baseplate go? I have a slamma gamma, but this ring is missing. I suppose this ring is needed to reduce play?

Newbie + looking for gearing advice

Hi everybody, Newbie from Belgium here and looking for some advice regarding retro builds. I've been a mountain biker for the biggest part of my life but sold all my gear some time ago due to lack of time (C'dale Taurine, Caffeine and F4). I'm a bit of a Cannonade fan and still own 3...
