No they are correct...otherwise they will be blocked by the fork when open them for removing the wheel. Cheers Christian

Hello, I have a similar one which was sold to me as a "Klein" BB-Spindle. Unfortunately there is no marking or anything printed that identifies it as a real Klein Part...does your spindle has anything like that or how could it be identified? Cheers, Christian

Great that you have found out the manufacturer - Simplon is a high-level bike-manufacturer from Austria. As I am from Austria it would be great to ride such a frame...unfortunately its little too small for me ;-( Cheers, Christian
