Thanks for your help guys. I too can confirm 26.4 (checked the seatpost with some verniers I laid my hands on in work!). I suppose I should have done that before sending you all to your sheds / garages / man caves to check. :oops: Off to eBay now to see what I can find....

It does look a bit poorly. I wonder what size that seatpost is.... I could do with one of them :P

I'm just in the process of giving my 1992 Karakoram a bit of an overhaul and hopefully get it looking as good as yours. A question I have is what size seatpost did your frame need? The one that's in mine at the moment is pretty corroded and I can't read a size off it. I've searched the site...
