    Looking at the dropouts and crankset, I'd say it's a PLX10 - effectively the forerunner of the PX10, so top-end. It's a real find, as it looks pretty original. That saves the big outlay to replace parts which have been 'upgraded' over the years. That said, I did pick up a JUY 60 Record awhile...

    Re. spelling, bear in mind that the rims were named after the famous racing circuit, so Montlhéry (although the company's own decal suppliers got it wrong from time to time.

    help with identifying my peugeot bike

    As I mention at the end (so far) of the thread, I'm pretty sure it's a PLX10, which pre-dates the PX10, and which had the stamped droputs yours has. It's a fantastic find - hang onto it! Oh, and S/Ns from this era and 60s tell us nothing, sadly.

    It's a 'flip-flop' hub (double-sprocket). I use a quick spray and brush of alloy wheel cleaner, then rinse wit water, dry and polish with Autosol. For a true mirror finish round of with Brasso.

    1960 Peugeot PX10.

    I find this fascinating - a rare find in such original condition. I'm going to say it's a PLX10, forerunner of the PX10, as it has the distinctive stamped dropouts. It looks paler blue than similar blue/yellow era Peugots I've seen, if the images are a true representation. I have a '68-ish PX10...
