    Hello Not sure it's obvious from the picture of my bike, but the handlebars are as normal and then turn inwards towards each other at the bottom. Is this normal? It looks dangerous to me.

    Hi Might make some jealous. Bearings gone in the Royce hub on the rear wheel. So took it to the maker, Cliff Royce today. Lucky to live about 15 miles away from his workshop. Took it apart and said.... 'It's a mark one hub, made 2000 to 2008'. Then went on to explain how they were made, some...

    Thanks for your responses. The paintwork is pretty OK as it is with just a few areas where it's chipped / rubbed off. I was going to have it sprayed ( as tastefully as possible ) in Pokemon colours in memory of my son. R

    Thanks retrobike rider. Circumstances have changed this for me from a 'nice to have' to a 'have to have'. The paint job will be very special and will take some time to decide. The bike will not be sold afterwards. Regards

    Ok I am thinking of getting the bike fully restored, including a respray of course. Does anyone know if there was a range of colours / designs, because there seem to be so many, perhaps it was done to the individual who bought it. Thanks Russell

    Hello Brand new to the forum and fairly new to biking, so treat me gently ..... please :D Have been given a Dave Lloyd bike. I already have a Road bike but thought would be nice to make it roadworthy again. Like to keep it original, but know nothing about the model or year of manufacture...
