I've lusted after an 80's Specialized sports touring bike for a while but most of the stuff you read about them online comes from stateside (understandably). I'm wondering if any of these were distro'd into the UK market? Mainly so I know if I have a cat in hells chance of getting hold of one...

As title states, I'm looking for a new touring appropriate bike for my partner. 18/19" should suit. Must be 26" wheels and take a decent width tyre. Mudguard and rack eyes essential. Interested to see what's out there!
