How much is my road bike (or parts of) worth?

Let's start with an apology..... I hate posts that start with "My mate has......", so I'm sorry...... My mate has a 1985 Roberts that he's been working with for a while now & whilst he's made fabulous progress, he's lost interest as he realises he'll never ride it & has therefore decided it...

    For Sale Dawes Discovery 401

That's very generous nstarmore. I'm happy to post some further details, I didn't want to get too into detail as I wasn't sure there'd be any interest if I'm honest. xtstman - there's actually a good deal more scope for you; I'm currently making occasional visits to a site outside...

    For Sale Dawes Discovery 401

Evening all! Recently rescued this from a date with the dump. Anyone into Dawes & fancy a Discovery 401? Complete & rideable. All in good original order except the following: Newer rear mech - probably not actually capable of running the low gear in anything but the granny. Has a suspension...

Litespeed Ocoee 1995 - Gravel conversion.

Ooh! That's plenty. Looked closer than that. I tried a similar idea with 650bx47's & it was really tight.

Memories...... had an XT600 Tenere for a while - fabulous thing, went anywhere & everywhere. Some time later I had an IT490....... completely stupid thing, utterly unusable on the road if you wanted to keep life/licence. Thrilled & scared me silly in equal measure & I cut my teeth on a RD350LC...

For Sale '98 Rockhopper in Brushed Steel Rolling Chassis

That's a nice example & very helpful, thanks. Price may well be off "a bit" based on that, I guess.......😂 I tried to do my research, but sold prices are all over the place & asking prices aren't even worth considering. I just sort of totted up the bits that were bolted together & arrived...

For Sale '98 Rockhopper in Brushed Steel Rolling Chassis

Talk to me lovely people..... I clearly have something wrong here, this is a great frame in great condition & there's no interest..... I am obviously in need of guidance from those better informed than I. Pricing was tricky, so in all honesty I took a guess for the rolling bundle. I'm happy to...
