Hi All, Recently saw this on FB marketplace and having heard a bit about the Trek SingleTrack line I decided to take a risk for £25. Not a bad deal? Unfortunately I think the frame is too small for me, being 6ft and the size being 16.5”, is this too much of a stretch to try and get to fit me...

Re: Well as far as I know the brakes are original or at least I think they are, I found the original catalogue online and it says it should have Weinmann 999's which it still does so that would be 1966! Thanks for the tips lads. The only bit that annoys me is the paint has started to come off...

Just purchased this Claud Butler and I am really pleased with it seems like a quality bike with nice components. I have attached some pictures below, would love to know what you lot think of it too? Also a couple of questions... 1. Would you try to restore the paint work or have it resprayed? 2...

Re: Think I may have missed the Astor now as it is no longer on eBay although I have now seen a rather nice looking bike from the same seller and it is a Capella, I have heard of the Capella lugs but not the brand itself! I really am a newbie haha! Once again any help would be great Tom
