Be very careful cleaning it - only use natural soap and water. Harsh solvents and cleaners (such as GoofOff) will wipe the paint off...Latex based paints are not really suitable for outdoors use.

I found the bottle cage in Turkey of all places - having a bit of a rummage through a bin of bits at a market. There was a guy on Ebay selling Raleigh twin bottle bar cages out of Greece a couple of weeks back and they looked remarkably similar.

Yes, Bikes by Steve and I am located in Melbourne, Australia. And A Class is located at Lonsdale on the outskirts of Adelaide - the very best restoration platers I have found anywhere.

I did the stripping, rust treatment and polishing, then it went to A Class Metal Finishes in Lonsdale for the copper / nickel / chrome plating and polishing and finally to Bikes By Steve for the awesome paint job. It should be good for another 60+ years now.
