    Re: I was hoping to build this out initially as a single speed using campag record kit. Just want to make sure I select the right threads. As the bike was originally built using 105 I'm hoping it was tapped using standard BSC on the BB with 24TPI.

    Hi All, I've just picked up a Raleigh Triathlon frame from ebay. Could anyone tell me what bottom bracket I should be using? I believe these originally ran 1987 Shimano 105 running gear. I assume therefore its tapped using a standard British Thread 24 TPI? Any help would be appreciated...
