I find it really hard to make out differences in the '91 and '92 Hammer based on the catalog images that are online - apart from the obivous component differences anyway.

The steerer is 5" long and the threads are 1 1/8" I'm not sure what size frame it came off of - I bought the bike for $50 and found a crack on the top tube at the head tube, so the frame is long gone.

I've got a fork, but it's from an SM2000. And it's 1"

A buddy of mine bought the pink LX version of this bike, after I tried to convince him the Fisher HK-II was a better deal. This has a 1 1/4" headtube I think?

When Hardcore started up in Edmonton, they sold Shogun. I saw a guy two summers ago rolling around the South side on one, and I think there was one on Kijiji last summer. Really cool bike!

Re: Here's my '91. It's battle-scarred for sure, but the parts are all in excellent shape. Well, not counting the fork, it's just for show. These ATAK hubs and Ringle skewers feel a little out of place to me, but they are shiny! I have a couple sets of barends that could look good...

That's the one I had! It had the original fork in purple, and may have had a steel Syncros stem. I have an '88 now. We're supposed to get above zero tomorrow, so maybe I'll break it out for some pics. Teaser for now;
