    Re: Sorry cant offer any advice but interesting questilon so had a quick read. There was a 28g saving from 1.8mm to 1.5mm db spokes 64 @ 264mm but interesting they came with brass nipples. Presume using alloy nipples would reduce the weight more.

    Thanks for that.....just found this pic online Just didnt want to ruin the grips, do seem a fair bit wider than the standard grips controls would be a good inch or so inboard on each side.

    After abit of advice... Fitting new odi grips to my srt800s but would like to refit my bar ends.......which is best way to go about it? Slide levers/ controls further up the bars and fit grips as they are, or trim the ends where lock wire grooves are. Even not fit bar ends if need be, i do...

    Cheers buddy Just a thought keeping the marin bar ends presume the odi grips will fit with length wise, they are proper srt800 sets.
