    kelloggs pro tour

Well, the Kellogg's pro tour has had another make over, sporting some Shimano RS31 wheels. Also on modern 3x10 105 brake/shiffters, Sram PG1070 10sp cassette. I love riding her, she's a real beaut' to ride as well, although I only ride it on dry days now as I've now got 2nd road bike as a winter...

How come  ? Just out of interest how much if you did sell? Did you ever the the photo's sorted? I did bite the bullet and bought a cheap modern road bike from Halfrauds ready for the winter I converted that to 30 speed and liked having the extra gears, so I then decided to 30 speed the...

Been playing around with the Kellogg's again, I've now gone 3x10 speed, 105 dual control levers, 105 chain, and Sram PG1050 11/32 cassette, the 10 speed cassette is near as dammit the same stack height the 8 speed cassette which I previously fitted. Rides brilliant!!

Re: I was out last week riding back from Bakewell, and coming towards me was a pair of Gold levers and thought it's got to be a record sprint, and it was and in mighty fine condition, I was running a bit late so didn't have time to stop and talk to the guy, nice to see an old Raleigh out on the...

The Raleigh ...... build (advice on decals rqd, see page 3)

Re: To be honest they both look good, I kept looking and looking and it's hard to pick one, they both suit the bike. I think if you fitted Black and White Schwalbe Lugano tyres (as fitted to my KPT) that would really set it off :D

Just had a couple of days riding up the Yorkshire Coast on the Raleight KPT, Photo is overlooking Scarborough, had a great time doing it, apart from losing the split link in the chain a few miles outside of Ravenscar, the only place nearby was an old lodge size of a mansion, but what a great...

Raleigh Pursuit 30 years later. Finished pics on page 2

Yes I have spent way way more than my bike is worth, but I love it, still altering "the settings" on the bars and seat seeing which position/height/tilt is most comfortable to ride, it's such a pleasure to ride, I'm getting used to the 30/42/52 road triple gearing a bit now having been spoilt on...

    L'Eroica Britannia - this weekend

Re: I visited the showground yesterday, I thought it was great for a "free event" to have a look around, not so cheap to ride the route, Unfortunately my bike did not qualify, so today I made my own route up and passed the retro riders going in the opposite direction at Darley Dale and on...

Re: Wow!! that's very nice MrW, Depenending on if you'd prefer road or mtb style, MTB shoes cleats tend to be small and inset in the sole, whereas road cleats are larger and stand proud on the sole making them more difficult to walk in. I use Shimano M520 SPD pedals, they are cheap as chips...

I decided to fit a new set of decals after all, I was going to get the frame painted first, but thought, you know what, it's got over a quarter of a century of battle scars, keep them and just tart it up with the new stickers. Had another ride out today on it, now I've Done quite a few miles...
