Although the frame measures 44cm, medium?, the rear triangle is quite small. If the seat stays joined the seat tube a bit higher the adapter would probably clear it. Damnit! So if yours is a conventional designed frame that isn't tiny sized, these will probably work great. I'll be in the corner...

I did get 2, so there will be some light butchery to see if I can get it to fit and function

I wasn´t aware of the whole Hayes 22mm caliper mount until earlier this year when i happened on a 2000 oclv Trek. recently an adaptor from that there china has appeared on ebay and aliexpress, definitely weren´t there earlier in the year (did find early hope brakes complete with hayes adaptor)...

It does look like the 5500 I have, but someone went to the trouble of swapping all the Dura ace for ultegra? I agree spinergy would look the nuts, bit would cost more than the rest of the bike, if I could find some..... Suppose I can start a 90's Dura ace collection 🙄

i bought some when i was back home in spain, seem fine. obvs didnt get stung for customs, vat, etc as mentioned so i can live with it. plus they´re not dry rotted and liable to come apart at inopportune moments

hi matt, dials you say? the preload adjusters? in need of 1 of them. think most of the insides are there, hard to say as at the moment as some of them are keen to stay inside.

i recently acquired this, as is less the wheels, for not much. research has provided the oem spec, which shall pretty much be ignored (rolfe wheels? more chance finding rocking horse poo or a pair of matrix mt titan rims). The question i have is related to the 2nd pic. is this some now obsolete...

Thanks, interesting for sure. I have all summer to look for parts. Missed out on a hard tail frame with headshot forks, stem and m300 cranks on eBay, sold for 40 quid! Let me know as and when Cheers
